The reality in Tanzania, is that there are so many orphaned and vulnerable children and not many resources for them to grow and succeed.
So, picture this, a young, early-twenties girl sets out to do some research work for her masters in Tanzania. She ends up volunteering at a local orphanage, and discovers that, many times orphanages in Tanzania do not have the resources to provides for children after the age of five.
At the orphanage, she meets and subsequently falls in loves with this set of 4 year-old triplets. Being young and an idealist, this girl decides to do the one thing that she knows that will support these three and lead them into a life of success; she sponsors them, so that they can attend school and be uplifted through the power of education. And this, this was just the beginning.
Now, at 14, the triplets are just the first step in what The Foundation For Tomorrow (TFFT) has grown into.
Under the heart, vision, and leadership of Meghann Bourne, TFFT has become an organization with the purpose of " secure quality education and emotional support for orphaned and vulnerable children so that they may reach their full potential and thrive in there communities".
The main avenues they work in is through Child Sponsorship, Psycho-Social Health, Life Skills Eduction, and Teacher Training.
